TULLURIDE

Thanks to a mix of terrain on the mountain, Telluride offers a genuine mountain experience for all levels of skiers. From refined groomed runs to challenging moguls, there truly is something for everyone. Telluride is tucked away in in the San Juan mountains of Colorado and often been called ‘the most beautiful place you’ll ever ski’. With no traffic or long lines for shuttle buses – and a free gondola as the main form of transportation, Telluride is sure to impress!

Telluride is a for families, intermediate and advanced level skiers. Telluride, Colorado is a perfect match for those looking for a secluded ski town getaway. Telluride Mountain has 2 separate lodging and ski access areas with the Town and Mountain Village. There is a free gondola that connects the two and runs late after the resort shuts down. Clients staying in the town can use this to go to dinner in the Mountain Village or vice versa. Telluride is very pet friendly and often claims to have more dogs than people in town. The resort chutes and bowls provide skiers a great big mountain experience. Telluride is a destination ski resort so avoids many of the crowds other front-range resorts will experience. VAIL

Vail Resort is world renowned for its size and terrain and offers everything a powder junkie could crave from Lionshead cruisers to the famous Back Bowls. Vail is the 4th largest ski resort in North America and has some of the best bowl skiing of any resort – Blue Sky is a “must ski”.

When visiting Vail, most choose to fly into Denver, and make the drive out to Vail. Denver International airport is 125 miles and approximately 2.5 hours from Vail, with Eagle airport only 45 minutes away. Weather can play a big part in travel time as Vail and Eisenhower Passes can be very slow or even closed during storms.

Vail has a very convenient town that allows easy resort and mountain access from most lodging destinations. There is an excellent shuttle service between all of the lodging areas of town, making a car not required.
